On behalf of the Intercultural Migrants Integration Center in Hamburg, Germany, I would like to cordially invite you to our annual Africa Day celebrations scheduled from the 24th – 28th of May 2017. This grand celebration honors the importance of signing the foundation Charter of the Organization of Africa Unity, today known as Africa Union (AU).
As part of the celebrations, there will be two highlights. The Investment Forum scheduled on the 24th of May from 9:00am – 2:30pm. This will be followed by an evening gala.
The theme of this year Africa Day Investment Forum is: “Africa as a Growing Market for the Future“. The topics are energy and water supply, agriculture, health, tourism and real estate. This forum aims to help bridge the economic gap between Africa and Europe through business partnerships and direct investments. (Registration: www.imicenter.com).
The second highlight will be a series of cultural events and displays at the Wandsbek Marktplatz in Hamburg from the 24th – 28th of May 2017 (11.00am – 10.00pm) commemorate the celebrations. Together with the citizens of Hamburg, we will have colorful and diverse “Africa Day” celebration which will showcase the diversity of cultures, traditions and aesthetics of African States.

Im Namen des Interkulturellen Migranten Integrations Center (IMIC e.V.) freue ich mich, Sie zum Africa Day Investment Forum und zum Africa Day 2017 (24. bis 28. Mai 2017) in Hamburg einzuladen.
Der Africa Day in Hamburg wird in diesem Jahr erneut durch ein hochkarätig besetztes Africa Day Investment Forum zum Thema „Afrika ein Wachstumsmarkt der Zukunft“ mit dem Themenfeldern Energie- und Wasserversorgung, Landwirtschaft, Gesundheit, Tourismus und Immobilien eröffnet. Es wird am 24. Mai (09.00 – 14.30 Uhr) im Hotel Grand Elyseé veranstaltet. Zu der Veranstaltung werden Gäste aus Politik und Wirtschaft Gäste aus Politik und Wirtschaft erwartet. Anschließend feiern die Hamburgerinnen und Hamburger mit dem Africa Day zum sechsten Mal in Folge die Gründung der African Union. Das integrative Fest der Afrikaner, Afro-Deutschen und deutschstämmigen Hamburgerinnen und Hamburgern auf dem Wandsbeker Marktplatz bietet vom 25. bis 28. Mai 2017 (11.00 bis 22.00 Uhr) ein Programm aus Musik, Tanz, Gebeten, kulinarischen Angeboten und informativen Beträgen..
